As the Bridgend Craft Collective pilot project nears completion, the celebration event for the project is just a few weeks away. Many of our crafters, as well as participants from within the social craft hubs will be taking part or exhibiting their handmade items at Bryngarw Park on Saturday December 7th. The event will run from 11am to 4pm and will include an Exhibition of Crafts, items made during the project in the Visitor Centre, and a Craft Sale outside in marquees. The Bryngarw Park annual Reindeer Trail will be running alongside the event so it will feel very festive and will be very children friendly!
In addition, we hope many of our stakeholders will attend the event, maybe to do a spot of Christmas shopping as well as view some of the amazing work they have helped the crafters to generate by supporting the Bridgend Craft Collective. The diversity of crafts on show, from craft brewing to making miniature fairies, musical instruments, walking sticks and bobbin lace, is truly inspiring.
There are exciting prospects ahead for the crafters in business - more of that at a later date - and every single one of our social craft hubs will continue to welcome social crafters into 2020. If you would like to join in one of the hubs please check the listings on this website. A warm welcome and a cuppa are guaranteed.
